The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office has identified the man killed in a house fire in Glen Rock on Sunday.

Officials say 82-year-old Frederick Visser was found on the first floor of a home on Birchwood Road just before 9:30 p.m. They say that first responders performed CPR on Visser and took him to the hospital. He later died from his injuries.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known but authorities say that it does not appear to be suspicious.
