Two dogs found dead in trash bags at a construction site in Yonkers last week are believed to have died from dehydration, according to police.
The dogs were discovered last Tuesday morning on Woodworth Avenue.
Investigators say there were no obvious signs of trauma.
The case remains under active investigation.
