A Bridgeport man is facing charges for a fatal hit-and-run, police say.

Lorenzo Abrajan-Garcia was arrested Aug. 7 and charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and evading responsibility with death.

Police say on July 13, 2025, just before 9:40 p.m., Abrajan-Garcia was traveling north on Park Avenue and struck 81-year-old Angela Pagan at the intersection of Park and Maplewood Avenues. Police say he did not stay on scene.

First responders provided aid to Pagan, who was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center. She later died that evening.

Abrajan-Garcia's bond was set at $500.000.
