Nassau County police say a car crash happened on Carnegie Avenue in Elmont on Thursday at 4:30 p.m., and one car was involved.
According to detectives, a 20-year-old man driving a Honda struck two parked cars and a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Police say the driver suffered multiple trauma injuries but is now listed in stable condition.
Police have not released the driver’s name. No one else was injured.
A neighbor said her home also sustained damage as a result of the crash. “Everything is damaged, to the front, to the glass door, and actually the back as well. We had a door get flipped on the floor," said Josianne Amazan.
