A man is facing charges in connection to a monthlong narcotics trafficking investigation in Port Jervis, according to authorities.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney says Isaac Rumaldo, 20, was arrested after selling over two ounces of cocaine to an undercover officer on Wednesday afternoon.
The undercover officer met Rumaldo on King Street, where he charged the officer $4,000 for the drugs.
Police say the money was recovered from a nearby yard where officers saw him hide it. He also had a scale and packaging materials in his car.
Rumaldo was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Police say he faces additional charges in Pennsylvania and is being held at the Orange County jail.
