A shooting outside an Ellenville home Tuesday afternoon left a person with two gunshot wounds and neighbors describing a chaotic scene.
A police source tells News 12 a 911 call reporting a shooting at 15 Spring Street came in around 3:30 p.m.
New York State Police were first to arrive and found the victim suffering from two gunshot wounds. Neighbors tell News 12 the victim was found in the driveway.
The victim was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center and underwent emergency surgery.
News 12 observed what appeared to be discarded medical gloves in the driveway of the Spring Street home Wednesday morning.
Several neighbors say police have been called to the residence before and described a history of problems at the property. Authorities have not confirmed those accounts or said whether any previous incidents are connected to the shooting.
Police have not released the victim’s identity or condition following surgery. Authorities have also not released information about a suspect, any arrests or what led up to the shooting.
