A person is in critical condition after a late-night shooting in Bridgeport, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.

Police responded to reports of a person shot around 11:52 p.m. Friday in the area of Edwards Street and Reservoir Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper thigh.

The victim was taken for medical treatment and remains in critical condition.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
