3h agoThe Yonkers Police Department has confirmed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian was on Warburton Avenue on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Police say a witness told them that the victim may have been lying in the middle of the road.
They say that the driver did not stop after hitting the pedestrian.
Police confirmed the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yonkers police are asking for anyone who saw anything to come forward with information.
