New Jersey is bracing for potential flooding and beach erosion as Hurricane Erin approaches the region.

Kim McKenna, from Stockton University's Coastal Research Center, shared insight into the areas most at risk.

"Some of our more vulnerable areas are near the inlets," McKenna explained. "Especially on the south side. They tend to experience higher erosion rates."

She also advised the public to avoid these areas and be cautious when observing the waves.
