Grab your passport! With over a dozen wineries participating in the Connecticut Winter Wine Trail, winter and wine make the perfect pair.
Many of the wineries have fun winter activities, live music, but the best part is that it's the perfect way to "get lost" in Connecticut.
Margaret Ruggiero-Mena, owner of Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery in Wallingford says, "The Connecticut Winter Wine Trail is a collection of 14 exquisite wineries that are farm wineries here in Connecticut that you can tour throughout the winter months from January to the end of March. There's a lot of fun things happening on the winter wine trail."
Pick up a passport at any participating winery. You'll need the actual passport - there is no app for this program. Get your stamp at each participating winery. Visit all 14 by the end of March to be eligible to win one of many prize packages.
