A fire broke out on the back porch of a home on Peaceful Valley Road in Trumbull overnight.

Thanks to the homeowner's Ring camera, which alerted them to the fire while they were out of state, help was called, and firefighters quickly responded to the scene.

Approximately 40 firefighters worked to contain the blaze, successfully knocking down the flames within an hour and preventing them from spreading to the rest of the house.

No injuries were reported.
