An Ossining man faces four felony charges for threatening to kill his ex in the woods in Somers on Saturday.
It happened near the Muscoot Reservoir, according to detectives.
Police say 40-year-old Freddy Orlando Guamani Orbes showed up at his ex's workplace and demanded that they get in his car.
He then drove into the woods, where he allegedly choked them.
The victim was able to escape and get help.
Guamani Orbes will be back in court next week.
