The Warwick Valley Humane Society is lending a helping hand to those impacted by the wildfire.
They're offering temporary boarding, free of charge for pets belonging to residents who need to briefly evacuate their homes.
The organization's president says they have already taken in a couple of dogs.
On top of that, they're offering crates and carriers for people who need them right now.
"We can do our part for our community and open up our doors in case people need help and please, do not leave your pets behind," says Suzyn Barron, who is the president of Warwick Valley Humane Society.
If you have questions or need the temporary boarding for your pet, you can call 845-986-2473.
