Onshore flow brings cooler temps, passing showers to New Jersey

A coastal storm just off the Outer Banks shoreline in North Carolina will slowly drift north up the coast, then steer into the Chesapeake Bay.
The developing onshore winds will push ocean water up against the Jersey Shore. It's possible there could be some minor coastal flooding during high tides, but nothing significant.
Clouds and scattered passing showers pinwheel through the state until Thursday.
OVERNIGHT: Party to mostly cloudy skies. Lows near 65.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Showers develop for the evening. Highs around 77. Lows around 65.
WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with some showers. Mostly cloudy at night. Highs around 71. Lows near 66.
THURSDAY: Chance of a morning shower. Cloudy early with partial sunshine expected late. Highs in the low 80s. Lows around 66.
FRIDAY: Plenty of sunshine. Highs in the mid-80s. Love near 62.
