Uconn officials say a person allegedly implied they had a weapon and yelled at students to get on the ground at one of the school's dining halls.
It happened Thursday at the Connecticut Hall Dining Facility.
A school spokesman says the individual used hand motions to make seem as if they had a gun.
No weapons or dangerous items were found, police say.
Those responsible were identified according to officials.
Along with potentially facing criminal charges, they may face consequences under the Student Code of Conduct, which includes expulsion.
