2ds agoA fire destroyed an East Meadow home on Tuesday, officials say.
Fire officials say the mother and infant were treated at a hospital for smoke inhalation.
News 12 is told the fire started at the house on Arleigh Road at around 3:30 p.m.
Nobody was seriously hurt, but the home in uninhabitable.
Fire officials say part of the second floor collapsed.
The Red Cross is now helping the family with three young children find a place to stay.
