Fire officials say a Saturday afternoon fire at a home in Plainview was due to a cooking accident. It happened on Gainsville Drive just after 1 p.m. Officials say one person was in the house and was able to safely evacuate. They say two firefighters had heat exhaustion after battling the flames.
