yesterdayTwo firefighters were injured in a fire at a vacant Valley Stream home, officials say.
Detectives say the fire started at 11 p.m. Tuesday on Garland Avenue.
Multiple departments were called in to help.
The two firefighters were hospitalized and are expected to recover.
No one else was hurt.
The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
