A three-alarm fire broke out Wednesday afternoon at Stuyvesant and Lafayette avenues in Brooklyn, according to the Office of Emergency Management.
Officials are advising people to expect smoke and traffic delays in the area.
Lewis Ave. from Greene Ave. to DeKalb Ave., and Lafayette Ave. from Marcus Garvey Blvd. to Stuyvesant Ave. are currently closed.
No injuries have been reported, according to the FDNY.
People nearby are urged to avoid smoke by closing windows.
