The NYPD says a woman was arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Police say Saturday just before 6 a.m., they responded to a 911 call at 153 Marcus Garvey Blvd.
There they found 47-year-old Donald Nesbit dead at the Roosevelt Houses.
Officials say he was stabbed multiple times in the back. Police say the victim did not live in the building, but his attacker did.
Kaydene Martin, 40, has been arrested and charged in connection to the stabbing. Sources say Martin and the victim had an on-and- off-again relationship.
Martin faces charges including criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and manslaughter in the first degree.
News 12 visited Nesbit's home to try to speak with his loved ones, but no one answered the door.
A neighbor said that Nesbit was a good guy and was always willing to help others.
