        NYPD: Man injured in Mott Haven shooting

        Officers say the shooting happened just before 5 a.m. on the corner of Courtlandt Avenue and E. 152nd Street.

        Police say a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg earlier this morning in Mott Haven.
        Investigators say a 33-year-old man is in stable condition. Officers say it happened just before 5 a.m. on the corner of Courtlandt Avenue and E. 152nd Street.
        While on the scene, community members guided News 12 crews to a shell casing on the sidewalk. News 12 alerted police and investigators arrived on the scene to dig deeper into what happened.
        No arrests have been made. Details surrounding the shooting have not yet been released.
