Shakty Castro, a Brooklyn resident, is still searching for her boyfriend who jumped in the East River from Domino Park.
Shakty Castro says she and her boyfriend Manuel Rangel went to a party Thursday night to embark on what she says was a spiritual journey to connect within, with the help of a controlled substance.
"Then out of nowhere, he literally just passed out on my arms and then he just got up and he just started walking forward. His eyes were not there, like something else was, like, controlling what he was doing," said Castro.
She says she followed Manuel from the party in East Williamsburg to Domino Park where he then jumped into the river.
"He literally dived in," said Castro.
Castro says the two were both very spiritual beings who meditated and moved with intention daily.
Castro says she is a yoga instructor and that Rangel is a nutritionist and personal trainer. They we're planning to launch a wellness club this upcoming week.
She says she is desperate to find him, posting flyers across the city, visiting hospitals and reaching out to friends and family.
She mentioned she feels the NYPD is not doing enough.
"I feel that they're just waiting to find a body. I know that he might be alive and I don't want to give up just like that," said Castro.
If you have any information about Manuel Rangel's whereabouts contact police.
