New York police and the Department of Sanitation recently teamed up for a traffic enforcement sweep targeting illegally parked vehicles in the northern Bronx.

Crews removed 47 vehicles, tagged 54 more and issued 46 citations.

Officials say operations like these help keep roads safer and improve quality of life.
