        NYPD: 13-year-old recovering after stabbing in Ocean Hill, suspect still at large

        A 13-year-old boy is recovering after being stabbed in the back Thursday afternoon in Ocean Hill. The search for his attacker continues.
        Police say the boy is in stable condition.
        The stabbing occurred on Roosevelt Place off Herkimer Street around 3:45 pm.
        Sources say the victim and his attacker may have gotten into an argument before things turned violent.
        The incident took place down the block from the Eagle Academy for Young Men in Ocean Hill, though it remains unclear if either the victim or the suspect are associated with the school.
        As of now, the suspect is still at large, and police are continuing their investigation.
        It’s unclear if there will be increased security at the nearby school following the incident.
