        Norwalk man charged after dumping diesel fuel, sewage near boat club

        Stan Sikorski, of Norwalk, faces multiple charges after allegedly dumping diesel fuel and sewage into the water near the South Norwalk Boat Club.
        According to police, Sikorski claimed he accidentally filled his boat's sanitation tank with diesel fuel while trying to refuel. He then allegedly pumped the tank's contents into the water.
        Crews were deployed to contain and clean up the environmental hazard.
        Sikorski has been charged with illegal discharge of pollutants, criminal mischief, and reckless endangerment.
