People throughout New Jersey are preparing themselves for a winter storm that will arrive in New Jersey Saturday afternoon.
Some people were out at the Stew Leonard’s in Paramus stocking up. Store manager Dane Morris says that storm prep equipment was flying off the shelves Friday afternoon.
"Just on the ice melt alone, between our seven stores it's gonna be about $20,000 increase in sales. We also sell shovels and the ice scrapers that are gonna move also,” Morris says.
He says that other items that sell well during storms are milk, eggs, bread and bacon.
