A Connecticut-based safari company is facing a lawsuit launched by a man whose wife was killed by a wild hippopotamus during a guided walk in Zambia.
The suit says the Cranford couple was near a body of water in May when the guide pointed out the hippo.
It claims the guides did not warn of the dangers of wildlife and even encouraged them to record and take pictures of the animal.
The suit alleges the man watched as his wife was fatally attacked.
