        New funding coming to several NY hospital to improve health services

        Saint Barnabas Hospital is among the hospitals partnering with other local health centers to bring what Gov. Kathy Hochul says is improved health outcomes for Bronx residents.

        Several hospitals across the state are getting new funding to improve health service for local patients.
        Saint Barnabas Hospital is among the hospitals partnering with other local health centers to bring what Gov. Kathy Hochul says is improved health outcomes for Bronx residents.
        One of the upgrades includes renovations to the hospital's emergency department.
        The current facility is designed to take in 55,000 visits a year but has to deal with 75,000 visits, according to state officials.
