NASA has released two breathtaking images of the cosmos, just in time for the holiday season.
One image shows a star cluster called NGC 602, which bears a striking resemblance to a space wreath.
The dark clouds of dust in the image suggest that stars are still forming in this region.
The other image depicts a cluster of stars that looks uncannily like a Christmas tree, known as NGC 2264.
The stars in this cluster are remarkably young, with ages ranging from 1 to 5 million years old.
