FAA adds Newark to list of airports facing controller shortages
4ds agoThe MTA says it plans to ban empty tractor trailers and tandem trucks from using bridges due to the stormy weekend weather.
This includes the Whitestone Bridge, the Throgs Neck Bridge, Henry Hudson Bridges and others.
The ban is in effect until 6 p.m. Monday.
Sunday's nor'easter prompted Gov. Kathy Hochul to declare a state of emergency.
