A person was struck by a Metro-North train on the New Haven Line near Fairfield on Monday afternoon, according to the MTA.
The New Haven Line service is experiencing average delays of 25 minutes between Green’s Farms and Bridgeport, according to the MTA.
Trains from Grand Central Terminal to New Haven are operating 35 to 40 minutes behind schedule. The train from New Haven to Grand Central will bypass Greenwich.
Fairfield police are assisting the MTA with the investigation.
The person's condition and identity has not been released.
