26m agoA piece of two-by-four wood and caution tape is holding up a sidewalk shed at 551 E 169th Street in Morrisania.
The Department of Buildings tells News 12 that it sent FDNY to the scene to respond to a report of an unstable shed and put up “temporary support.”
The DOB also says it issued a permit for the sidewalk shed back in October, but there is no permit for work at that location, which would need the shed.
The DOB confirms it is investigating this matter.
News 12 does not have information on when a permanent fix will occur or the cause of the damage.
