        Investigators rule death of an infant over the summer as a homicide

        Medical examiners say a 4-month-old boy in Melrose died of acute cocaine intoxication.

        Police say in August, officers responded to a 911 call on Eagle Avenue in Melrose.
        That's where they discovered 4-month-old Ariel Gonzalez unresponsive and unconscious.
        He was taken to Lincoln hospital where he died.
        "It just makes me upset. Especially that it's a 4-month-old baby." said Elizabeth Delafuente, a neighbor.
        Other neighbors tell News 12 the family kept to themselves and had not seen them in a few months. However, News 12 was told the family does still live in the home. Crews knocked on the door, but nobody answered.
