Westchester’s largest city was in the spotlight on Saturday Night Live during a holiday segment spoof that featured a decorated home in Yonkers.
The skit poked fun at seasonal news coverage and highlighted the festive display on Warburton Avenue.
But Mayor Mike Spano took issue with part of the segment that referred to Yonkers as “a village.”
“Yonkers is not some upstate town,” Spano said in a Facebook post. “It’s New York’s third largest city, and we’re sitting right on your doorstep.”
No word yet from SNL on whether the show will respond.
