A lockdown has been lifted at the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District after a reported threat.

Officials say that no credible threat was found and that all students and staff are safe. The nature of the threat was not immediately provided.

Officials say there will be increased police presence at each school during dismissal as a precaution.
