7m agoA reported robbery at a Mount Vernon gas station prompted a massive police response on Friday morning.
Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard says the incident took place on Mount Vernon Avenue.
The NYPD is leading the search for the suspects and the Mount Vernon Police Department is handling the investigation.
Metro-North services from Mount Vernon east and west train stations were halted in the aftermath of the incident. They have since resumed.
