An auto show attracted the attention of the city's youth in East New York Wednesday.
A group of mobile trauma units gathered on Van Siclen Avenue to spread awareness about gun violence and how the community can combat it.
New York City's gun czar and founder of Man Up, Andre Mitchell-Mann says "These type of events, on these blocks in East New York, hopefully people will be having a good time and they won't have to resort to anything like that."
Games, music, food and a sweet treat - cotton candy - were all available for kids to enjoy.
