A man is recovering after a stabbing late Tuesday night in Gowanus.
Investigators say it happened just before 11:35 p.m. outside a building on Sackett Street.
A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the neck, face and chest during the attack. He was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and is listed as stable.
Video from the scene showed emergency crews outside the building as sirens echoed through the block overnight. Part of the street was taped off while investigators searched the area and spoke with people nearby.
Right now, it’s still unclear what led up to the stabbing.
A police source tells us the person who ran off was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
