A 23-year-old man was shot in Crown Heights near a NYCHA complex, police say.

Officers responded to 1620 Pacific St. just before 8 p.m. Monday.

News 12 cameras captured multiple orange cones serving as shell casing markers.

The NYPD says the man suffered a gunshot wound to the left thigh.

Paramedics took him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he is expected to recover.

Police say they are searching for a man wearing a black face mask and black sweatpants.
