Police say a man was fatally shot in the chest in Olinville Tuesday evening.
It happened around 6:43 p.m. near 3246 White Plains Road.
Police responded to a 911 call for an assault and discovered the man with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
EMS took the man to Jacobi in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
