A 29-year-old man is dead after being shot in the head in Fordham Heights early Thursday morning.

Police responded to a shooting inside 2362 Jerome Ave. Just before 4:30 a.m.

When police arrived, they found man with a gunshot to the head.

Video captured on Citizen shows the moments first responders tried reviving the victim. The man was pronounced deceased on scene.

News 12 spoke with a woman who says she is the wife of the victim. She identified him as 29-year-old Jaime. She told us he used to DJ at the location and was selling glasses Wednesday night. ​

She tells News 12 she missed a call from her husband at around 4:20 a.m. and took a cab to the scene.

There are no arrests at this time and investigation is ongoing.
