An arrest has been made more than a year after a man was hit and killed while crossing The Washington Bridge.

Police charged Jesus Juarez, 36, with reckless driving, failing to yield to a pedestrian and failing to exercise due care.

In 2024, 41-year-old Herb Henry Alesna was crossing the bridge when he was stuck by a driver.

The crash started after the driver crossed lanes and hit another car.
