A man is facing multiple drug charges after police said he was selling illegal kratom from his car in Greenwich.

Trevor Singer was arrested last week after police seized kratom products with an estimated value of more than $20,000, authorities said.

Police said the products were being sold from Singer's vehicle.

Kratom is a plant-based substance with opioid-like effects.

Possession and sale of kratom are illegal in Connecticut.
