Quincy James Davis, 58, was arraigned at the Brooklyn Supreme Court on Friday.
Davis was charged with murder and attempted murder, accused of shooting 26-year-old Imani Sharpless and her boyfriend Cordel McDuffie on Sept. 9, following a dispute over a parking spot at a Bed-Stuy Home Depot.
Imani died of her injuries on Sept. 14.
"What I know about my daughter is that she would still want me to be forgiving and she would want me to still treat him with kindness," said Imani's mother, Alverna Sharpless, who was in court Friday.

Davis is expected back in court on Jan 19. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years behind bars.
