Well, we made it to Friday, and it's time for Main Street, Connecticut when we showcase all the things our local towns and cities have to offer. This week we are in New Canaan. Newswell, Connecticut's Mark Sudall is at Laurent Ranch on Elm Street. I am loving this outfit, Mark. You look good. Good morning Asia. We're getting ready to get you all cowboyed up here. So we're uh right on Elm Street in New Canaan, the Rot Ranch. I mean this is just an amazing place and, and not something you would expect here. In southwestern Connecticut as the Southwest has come to our area, I want to introduce you to Nancy George. She runs the place. Hello. Good morning. And you also do some, some glass blowing as well, and you said you did this, this right here, huh? Yes, yes, I blow glass. I had, uh, I have Laurent collection, um, so kind of got into that and enjoyed doing. I love being creative. It's one of my things I just never stopped being creative. Um, I do a lot of designing of jewelry, my own line of leathers, line of furs. So when I opened Laurent Ranch, it was just one of my passions to, you know, uh, have an apparel store. I'm an interior designer by trade, so they got to go hand in hand. Um, and here I am almost a year later. So as a girl from the Bronx, how did you get interested in the West? Just traveled out there. I had clients out there, then I fell in love with it. I fell in love with the people. I fell in love with the American grit. I fell in love with just the down to earthness of, uh, of, of people just being so genuine, uh, growing up in the Bronx and Westchester. You know, it's everybody's in that grind and I just, it's so nice to slow down a little bit. So Nancy, thank you so much. So nice to meet you. Thank you. What a great little spot here in New Cane and we're going to go up the road to the white buffalo in our next hour. All right, I'm loving all the items in that store, Mark. Thank you.

Well, it's time for Main Tree, Connecticut this week. We are in New Canaan. New, Connecticut's Mark Sudall is at the White Buffalo and has the latest for us. I love that smile. That means you're having a good time, Mark. Oh yeah, it's a good place to be. This used to be the music store here in New Cana. It's kind of the town's best kept secret because it's kind of down an alleyway, but it is a great place for food, fun, entertainment. Rich Hewitt is the man behind the bar. If you come into the white buffalo, you'll see him. Um, tell us about how you got this place going and where we are now. Uh, we started up about almost 7 years ago and uh. We were just looking to get a hangout for families more old and you have a place that people can come and hang out. And what's cool about it is because it is kind of down the you kind of like take up the space here, you can have a great spot for bands out. Yeah fantastic all summer long, spring, fall, uh, we have, it's a great spot with uh entertainment for uh. With the kids that run around and hang out, play games and uh we have the TVs outside as well for sports so it's become a big popular hangout. It really has, um, so as we head into the winter months, of course, uh, I guess you said you're not too busy, but you'll still be getting folks in here with football and all kinds of. We have the NFL package here, so we have all the sports on every single TV with all the games every Sunday, so it's been a popular spot for that too, and I've had the chance to try some of the food here, which is quite good. The smash. Which they're known for the wings that are also good. I'm told anyway, you, you told me this that the bacon, egg and cheese is really like to die for here in New Cana. That's what you're telling us, we do it every, you got something special on here. What is that? Uh, it's a homemade red pepper aioli. holy. Oh wow. That is good. Oh fresh, right? I mean, you can take the roll is fantastic, the bacon everything. Oh, Asia. I think I'm in heaven here, this is Richie, thank you so much. Look at that, Mark. You can barely speak. It has you speechless. It looks good though. I mean, I am speechless. All right, I'm getting too hungry. We're taking you off the screen. Thanks, Mark.
