If you want to visit Atlantic City, but don’t want to lose a large chunk of your hard-earned money – consider checking out the Showboat Resort.
Showboat was once a casino until it closed in 2014. Its new owner wanted to lose the casino vibe and had it turned into an arcade when it reopened in 2016. It has games for the whole family – including one reminiscent of a casino classic.
“So, ‘Game Time’ is an homage to the casino past and this is the newest edition. We just opened this up in the summer,” says Showboat spokesperson Lisa Johnson. “It’s casino-style games, but you play for prizes.”
One such prize is a Louis Vuitton bag.
