Tuesday is Tax Day, but it is also a very special day for a local couple.
Jim Mohs is an associate professor at the University of New Haven business school.
Tuesday is his wedding anniversary.
Jim and his wife Diane were marred on this date in 1989 at Saint Andrews Church in Milford.
Jim used to be a tax accountant and his wife was a general accountant.
So when they decided to get married on Tax Day, it was pretty funny.
"It was a joke to both of our families being accountants and the like. In fact, the photographer took a picture on April 15th of her sitting next to me at the dining room table, there's a computer laptop out and papers all over the place. It was hysterical," said Mohs.
Now, 36 years later, they are living a happy life together.
And because of their anniversary Jim says he has to file his family's taxes a little early.
