The MTA is taking steps to keep service running for commuters, officials said. Services will remain running during the severe weather, but the LIRR may see slight schedule adjustments.

“The MTA will be running service come hell or high water. Whether it is seven inches or 13 inches of whatever, we are going to be ready,” MTA Chair Janno Lieber said Friday.

The MTA is urging riders to check the train app for any possible delays and cancellations.
