        Linden police: Man slashes tires of nearly 2 dozen cars

        Detectives say the suspect targeted vehicles in Linden and Roselle.

        Police in Union County are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of slashing tires on nearly two dozen cars last week.
        Detectives say the suspect targeted vehicles in Linden and Roselle. He is described as a Black or Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and around 150 pounds.
        Images of the man show him wearing a face mask, blue sweatshirt, puffy jacket, along with red and black sneakers.
        Anyone with information is urged to call Linden police detective Maria Mercado at 908-474-8536 or Roselle police detective Luis Vega at 908-245-9200.
