        Bridget Desimone and Nicole Seaman call each other "breast friends" because their journeys with breast cancer brought them together.
        The two women had an instant connection when they came across each other's profiles on the Bezzy Breast Cancer app.
        At the time of their diagnosis, they were both young mothers trying to navigate the unknowns of their cancer journeys.
        The American Cancer Society says 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and you will be seeing pink ribbons to raise awareness and encouraging people to get screened.
